First, I'm sorry I'm writing this in English, not in German. I can read some German but unfortunately I can't write it very well. Please feel free to move this thread if I'm posting on a wrong forum.

I saw Elbow three times last week supporting R.E.M. and I really liked their music. I taped their set in Wï¿½rzburg and uploaded it on Dime. You can find it here: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-deta … ?id=211359

I'm amazed how good it sounds. I was standing at the barrier, front row, a little to Peter side, and I clipped the mics to the barrier. There is a sample in the comments.

Also, thanks again for keeping me dry while we were waiting and for taking the rainbow picture with my camera. It turned out pretty well.

The sound is pretty horrible - distorted all the way - and the set is not complete. I still have hope that somebody else taped Prague. If not, I'll share that incomplete distorted set later.

Thanks for taping Elbow, raya. Haven't seen them in Wï¿½rzburg but at the Loreley & hope the setlist hasn't changed much because they have played some great songs at the Loreley.
btw: I have a fried in Finland - she lives in Savonlinna.
